About Midfielder
Midfielder is an independent British football publication devoted to the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League and the intelligence of the middle of the pitch.
The name describes the editorial method. We begin with the zone that links defence and attack, then use it to explain team structure, competition rules, player roles and match control.

What we do not cover
Midfielder is not a general transfer-rumour feed, betting-tips service or live-score clone. We may cover a transfer when it changes a midfield, registration or tactical question, but not merely because another outlet has published a claim.
Editorial approach
Competition facts are checked against official Premier League, UEFA and football-law sources wherever possible. Analysis is written in British English, distinguishes evidence from opinion and avoids anonymous quotations that cannot be verified.
