Cookie Policy
What is stored on your device when you read midfielder.co.uk, and what is not.
The short version
This site sets no advertising cookies and no tracking cookies. It does not follow you to other websites. If that ever changes, this page changes first and you will be asked before any non-essential cookie is set.
What may be stored
- Strictly necessary. WordPress sets a small number of cookies when somebody signs in to the editorial side of the site, and to keep a session secure. If you are only reading, these do not apply to you.
- Preferences. If we ever remember a choice you made, such as dismissing a notice, it is stored on your own device and nowhere else.
- Measurement and advertising. None at present. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations these require your consent, and we will ask for it properly rather than assume it.
Things loaded from elsewhere
Two kinds of file come from outside this domain: web fonts, and photographs. They do not set cookies for us, but the servers that deliver them necessarily see your IP address, because that is how the internet delivers a file. The privacy policy explains how we think about that.
Controlling cookies yourself
Every browser lets you see what has been stored and delete it, and lets you refuse cookies entirely. Doing so will not stop you reading anything on this site. Search your browser’s settings for “cookies” or “site data”.
Questions
Write to info@midfielder.co.uk and ask. We will tell you exactly what is set, because the list is short enough to say out loud.
