Terms of Use
The terms on which you may use midfielder.co.uk. Plain English, and short, because both sides benefit from that.
Who you are agreeing with
This site is operated by OCEAN LUX LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16013082, whose registered office is at 27 Old Gloucester St, Holborn, London, United Kingdom, WC1N 3AX. By using it you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
What we publish, and what it is worth
Everything here is journalism and analysis. Reports about transfers, injuries, selections and similar matters are attributed to the reporter or outlet that published them first, and remain reported claims rather than established fact unless we say a club or competition has confirmed them. A report can be accurate on the day and overtaken by events the next.
Nothing on this site is betting advice, financial advice, or advice of any other regulated kind. If you place money on something you read here, that decision and its consequences are entirely yours.
Accuracy and corrections
We try to be right, we sometimes will not be, and we would rather hear about it than not. Tell us at info@midfielder.co.uk. Our editorial policy page explains what we do when we get something wrong.
Our content
The words, the design, the mark and the graphics on this site belong to us or are used with permission. You are welcome to quote us fairly and briefly with a link back, which is how the trade has always worked. You may not republish whole articles, or copy the site wholesale, without asking.
Photographs
Photographs are licensed. Where a photograph carries a credit, the copyright belongs to the photographer named and the licence under which we use it is stated beneath the image. That credit is part of the licence: if you reuse the photograph you must carry the same credit and comply with the same licence, and your permission comes from the licence and not from us.
Other people’s sites
We link out, because attribution requires it. We have no control over what those sites do next and we are not responsible for their content.
Availability, and the limits of what we promise
We will try to keep the site up and correct. We do not promise that it will be available uninterrupted, or free of errors. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes and jurisdiction
We may change these terms; the current version is always the one on this page. These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
