Chelsea confirm Cole Palmer’s new deal to 2034

Chelsea have confirmed Cole Palmer has signed an improved contract running until 2034. The announcement was made on Saturday morning.

According to Ben Jacobs, the updated agreement adds 12 months to Palmer’s previous terms and is being presented as a reaffirmation of the forward’s commitment to the club. The same reporting does not specify any financial details.

An official confirmation from the club indicates the extension has been concluded and is now in place. While the precise structure has not been disclosed, a deal to 2034 gives Chelsea long-term security over one of their key attacking contributors and reduces any immediate uncertainty around his future.

Extensions of this nature typically reflect performance and status within the squad, but the report stops short of outlining specific incentives or add-ons within the new contract. Any release clauses or options, if applicable, were not mentioned.

The timing, early in the season and well ahead of the next transfer window, suggests Chelsea wanted clarity and continuity around Palmer’s role. A commitment of this length also means that any external interest would now have to be channelled directly through the club, with Chelsea retaining control over the player’s long-term trajectory.

Beyond confirming the length of the new term and that it represents an improvement on existing conditions, no further administrative details have been disclosed at this stage. Further information could follow via club channels.
