A formal offer represents progress beyond initial interest but it does not amount to an agreement between the clubs. No figure or option related to the loan has been disclosed, and there is no indication yet of a timetable for a decision.
The dependence on the Balogun situation suggests the proposed move could only proceed once that separate deal is resolved, after which United would determine whether to sanction Zirkzee’s departure. That caveat explains the conditional nature of Everton’s bid at this stage.
