Fenerbahçe have rejected suggestions they are moving for Chelsea’s Jamie Gittens, with the Turkish club said to have issued a statement dismissing recent links as untrue.
According to Ben Jacobs, the Istanbul side publicly addressed the speculation and characterised the reports as unfounded. The message also pushed back at attempts to attach the club’s name to fabricated transfer talk.
The denial follows claims elsewhere that Gittens had emerged as a target. While transfer narratives can shift quickly, the stance set out in the report indicates there is no active pursuit from Fenerbahçe at this time.
