Report: Fenerbahçe deny interest in Chelsea’s Jamie Gittens
The Turkish club are said to have released a statement rejecting links to the Chelsea player and calling the rumours baseless.

Fenerbahçe have rejected suggestions they are moving for Chelsea’s Jamie Gittens, with the Turkish club said to have issued a statement dismissing recent links as untrue.
According to Ben Jacobs, the Istanbul side publicly addressed the speculation and characterised the reports as unfounded. The message also pushed back at attempts to attach the club’s name to fabricated transfer talk.
The denial follows claims elsewhere that Gittens had emerged as a target. While transfer narratives can shift quickly, the stance set out in the report indicates there is no active pursuit from Fenerbahçe at this time.
The update offers little beyond a clear rebuttal of the links. There is no suggestion in the reporting of negotiations, a bid or any change in the player’s status at Chelsea.
As ever with summer rumours, clarity often arrives closer to deadline periods, but for now the picture painted by the Turkish club’s statement is straightforward: Fenerbahçe do not recognise the story connecting them with Gittens.
