Report says Jamie Vardy has spoken to clubs in Brazil, MLS and the Premier League, with West Ham an option

The forward is weighing proposals from several leagues, with contact reported from São Paulo and unnamed Premier League and MLS sides. A potential switch to Sheffield Wednesday is said to be complicated by the club’s post-administration situation, while West Ham is among the options.

Jamie Vardy is assessing offers from a range of clubs across Brazil, the United States and England, with interest from the Premier League still in play. As first reported by Rob Dorsett, São Paulo have been in touch and several Premier League and MLS teams have held conversations with the striker, while West Ham United is understood to remain an option.

The same report says a move to Sheffield Wednesday is on the table but complicated by the fallout from the club’s administration last season. No agreement has been indicated with any side and the situation remains fluid as Vardy weighs his next step.

While the breadth of interest points to a wide market for the veteran forward, the detail offered so far centres on exploratory talks rather than advanced negotiations. The mention of multiple Premier League suitors and West Ham’s continued presence in the frame suggests there could be opportunities for a return to top-flight football in England, but it is unclear how far any of those discussions have progressed.

For now, the picture is one of options being considered in parallel, with potential hurdles in the Football League for a Sheffield Wednesday deal and alternative pathways overseas. Further clarity is likely once Vardy decides which project best suits him, but at this stage there is no indication of a breakthrough.
