Liverpool Champions League fixtures and dates reported

Liverpool’s Champions League schedule has been set out, starting at home to Atletico Madrid on 9 September and including trips to LASK, Fenerbahce, Club Brugge and Inter, plus a home date with Lens.

Liverpool’s Champions League fixtures and kick-off times were set out on Saturday, James Pearce reports, with dates running from September into January. The Reds are due to start at Anfield against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday 9 September at 8pm.

An away match at LASK follows on Wednesday 14 October with a 5.45pm start, before Villarreal visit Anfield on Tuesday 20 October at 8pm.

Liverpool then travel to Fenerbahce on Wednesday 4 November for a 5.45pm kick-off and head to Club Brugge on Wednesday 25 November at 8pm.

December begins with FC Porto at Anfield on Wednesday 9 December at 8pm, and the listed calendar continues into the new year with a trip to Inter on Tuesday 19 January, also at 8pm.

The schedule also includes a home meeting with Lens, though the post does not include the date or kick-off time for that fixture.
