Chiesa and Endo omitted from Liverpool UCL squad, report says
Liverpool have left Federico Chiesa and Wataru Endo out of their 25-man Champions League list, per a report, while Hugo Ekitike, Giovanni Leoni and Conor Bradley make it despite injuries.

On Thursday evening, Liverpool are reported to have omitted Federico Chiesa and Wataru Endo from their 25-man Champions League squad. James Pearce understands that Hugo Ekitike, Giovanni Leoni and Conor Bradley have been included.
The same reporting adds that the included trio are currently injured but are on course to be fit to contribute later in the league phase. No timeframe beyond that broad expectation is specified.
UEFA requires clubs to submit a 25-player senior list for the competition. At this stage, players not registered would not be eligible to feature until and unless they are added in line with competition rules.
Taken together, the selections indicate Liverpool foresee returns for Ekitike, Leoni and Bradley during the group programme, while Chiesa and Endo remain outside the initial list.
Whether subsequent updates to the registration will alter that picture remains uncertain, but as things stand the pair are set to miss the opening fixtures of Liverpool’s European campaign.
