Liverpool festive PL fixtures moved for Sky coverage, says report
Three Liverpool away matches over the festive period have new TV kick-offs at Hull, Aston Villa and Sunderland, while the home game with Coventry stays at 3pm on Saturday 2 January.
Liverpool have had three festive Premier League fixtures rescheduled for television coverage, with away trips to Hull City, Aston Villa and Sunderland moved to evening kick-offs. The changes were reported on Thursday afternoon.
According to James Pearce, Hull City away will kick off at 5.30pm on Saturday 26 December, Aston Villa away at 8.15pm on Wednesday 30 December, and Sunderland away at 8.15pm on Tuesday 5 January, all live on Sky Sports.
The home match against Coventry on Saturday 2 January remains at 3pm, with no broadcast selection announced for that fixture. No further alterations were indicated.
The TV picks adjust the start times rather than the dates of the games, meaning Liverpool’s festive schedule stays in the same calendar slots while shifting into later kick-offs for those three away trips.
The evening slots could affect travel plans for away supporters across the holiday period, although specific ticketing or logistical guidance would come from the clubs and competition organisers if required.
