Manchester City have confirmed the arrival of Gerónimo Rulli from Marseille on a two-year contract.
Ben Jacobs was the first to report it, stating that City had announced the deal and that Rulli had completed his move from the Ligue 1 side on a contract running for two seasons.
The report does not cite a fee and no further terms have been made public at this stage. There is also no detail yet on when the 34-year-old could make a first appearance or how the move might affect City’s squad plans for the upcoming campaign.
What is clear is that City have moved to add experience to their options, with the short-to-medium length of the agreement suggesting a defined role in the group over the next two years. Any additional information from the club on registration or availability is yet to emerge.
